I graduated in the winter of 2003 from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree; graphic design emphasis. My studies were built mostly around print design, but I was always drawn to website and interactive design. Any chance I got, the focus of my undergrad work was shifted towards the interactivity of the world wide web.

I currently work for a manufacturing company in Superior Wisconsin as a web and graphic designer. On the side I also enjoy doing freelance multi-media interactive web and graphic design. I have experience in many different areas of graphic arts including technical layout and print design as well as some experience with video and video editing. My main focus however, is interactive Flash and website design. I am always trying to learn the latest design software and graphic technologies, and I love taking on new design challenges!

Dreams of Color Interactive, or DOC Interactive, is a freelance venture that I hope to turn into a successful business someday. I plan to add examples from my portfolio and freelance work to this site over time. I think of DOC Interactive as a digital reference of where I have been, where I am going, and where I hope to be in the future. A launch pad for creativity and a digital bookmark to my creative thoughts.
