I graduated in the winter of 2003 from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree; graphic design emphasis. My studies were focused mostly around print design, but I was always drawn to web and interactive design. I've pursued other career paths recently, but design and art remain my passion. Dreams of Color Interactive is a freelance venture that I keep in my back pocket, so I can pull it out any time I need a change of pace from my day job.
I am currently employed by a manufacturing company in Superior Wisconsin as a Business Systems Analyst. If time permits, I still enjoy doing freelance web and graphic design on the side including logos and promotional materials. I have experience in many different areas of graphic arts including technical layout and print design as well as some experience with video and video editing. I continue to try to stay up to date with the latest design software and graphic technologies, and I love taking on new design challenges! Over time I hope to find time to add examples from my portfolio and freelance design work.
DOC Interactive is a digital reference of where I have been, where I am going, and where I hope to be in the future. A launch pad for creativity and a digital bookmark to my creative work and thoughts.
